Back in August 2023 ECBAT worked with the local Businesses, Clubs and Organisations of Eudunda and District with help from Rural Aid Australia through a “Community Opportunity Workshop” and other events to find out what the community was thinking.
Peter Kenyon from ‘Bank of I.D.E.A.S.’ is an an internationally renowned community development expert, and his presence really brought out the issues facing the community and some of the creative thoughts and suggestions as to how we might be able to solve the challenges.
The result was a comprehensive, concise ‘Community Development Action Plan’ which was presented to ECBAT in September 2023 for the community.

It lists: Our Goals, Our Guiding Values, Our Challenges, Our Assets and Our Strategies & Actions (broken down into Four Themes).
The Community Development Action Plan booklet was mailed out to residents in the district at the time.
ECBAT has been dilligently working through the Community Development Action Plan and with this as a guide quite a few items have already been completed and ‘ticked off’. There are many more to go, expecially the ones which we knew were going to be ‘long term projects’.
